Nel fruscio delle foglie (In the rustle of leaves) Artist Prisca Baccaille's project for an exhibition at Gallery UNO in Berlin in 2023 The current pictorial production focuses on the relationship between intention and randomness. The aim of the work is to find a balance between the artist's intention and the random legacies of painting. Through daily layers of colour, painting grows, settles, builds: in its progress it reveals unpredictable behaviour, discoveries to adapt to, deviations to follow. The main subject and source of inexhaustible inspiration is nature. The starting point of the work is to be in places: to walk through them, breathe them and choose to listen to them. What results is the progressive construction of a place of refuge where one can stay and slowly lose oneself. Nel fruscio delle foglie Progetto dell artista Prisca Baccaille per una esibizione alla Gallery UNO di Berlino nel 2023 L attuale produzione pittorica si focalizza sul rapporto fra intenzione e casualita. Obbiettivo del lavoro e trovare un punto di equilibrio fra l idea dell artista e i lasciti casuali della pittura. Tramite quotidiane stratificazioni di colore la pittura cresce, sedimenta, costruisce: nel suo progredire rivela comportamenti imprevedibili, scoperte a cui adattarsi, deviazioni da seguire. Soggetto principale e fonte di inesauribile ispirazione e la natura. Punto di partenza dei lavori e stare nei luoghi: percorrerli, respirarli e scegliere di ascoltarli.
